Vent: Wasted $75 on a "password manager" app that did nothing special

I got suckered into buying a premium password manager app last month because it promised to "revolutionize" how I log into things. Paid $75 for a yearly subscription thinking it would magically organize all my accounts. Turns out it was just a fancy digital notebook with a chrome extension. I could have gotten the same results from a free spreadsheet or even just writing them down in a notebook I keep in my desk drawer. The auto fill barely worked on half my sites and I ended up manually typing passwords anyway. After two weeks I just went back to using the built in browser one that comes free with Chrome. Has anyone else bought a paid app that turned out to be a waste of cash when free options do the same thing?

The real scam is they convince you to pay for features your browser already gives away for free.

Oh, tell me about it. My aunt once paid for a password manager app and I had to gently explain that Chrome just does that now for free. I think she's still mad at me for ruining her subscription.
