Warning: free cloud storage is a trap

I picked Google Drive over Dropbox for my 2TB photo backup. Now i'm stuck paying $10 a month because moving 1.8TB of files would take 3 days. Anyone else regret going all in with one provider?

You really think Google would kill Drive though? They'd lose too many people's trust.

Have you thought about what happens if Google just decides to shut down Drive or change their pricing overnight? They've killed plenty of services before, and that's the real trap nobody talks about - you're not just stuck paying, you're stuck hoping they don't pull the rug out.
