Why does nobody talk about using keyboard shortcuts for your phone?

Last week I was standing in line at the grocery store and realized I spend way too much time switching between apps on my phone. I finally set up Gboard's clipboard feature and a few text shortcuts for my email and address. It took me like 10 minutes to configure and now I can paste stuff in two taps instead of hunting for it. I also found a shortcut to cycle through open apps faster by swiping along the bottom bar. Has anyone else found a hidden phone setting that saved them a bunch of time each day?

Hunting for it" is exactly the pain point. The real time saver nobody mentions is setting up custom keyboard shortcuts for things like your email or phone number. I did that and it saves me from typing the same info into forms every single day.

I mean yeah but is typing your email really that annoying, @felixw68? I get that it's a tiny time saver but I just have my browser auto-fill that stuff for me. Feels like overthinking it.
