A client in Bend told me my quarter clips were too sharp for her trail horses.

I started rounding the edges more after she said it, and now I get fewer callbacks about soreness, so has anyone else had a client point out something simple you were overdoing?

Yep, happens all the time. Sometimes you need that outside look to spot the obvious fix.

Yeah but it's not always about an outside look, @tyler_hall9. Sometimes you're just too deep in the weeds on your own project. You miss the simple stuff because you're focused on a complicated problem. A fresh pair of eyes helps, but it's more about stepping back than it is about someone else being smarter. The fix seems obvious only after you've stopped staring at it for six hours straight.

Take a step back and look at your work the way a new customer would - sometimes you're polishing something that doesn't need it, and that extra time costs you both.
