PSA: That time a horse kicked my truck door clean off at a show in Ohio

I was unloading my gear at a 4H event near Columbus last spring, and a spooked mare nailed my door so hard it flew off its hinges. Cost me $1200 to fix, so now I always park at least 30 feet from the trailer ramp. Any of you guys had a horse do some serious damage to your vehicle?

My buddy's horse kicked a dent into the side of his old F-150 at a fair in Indiana. It cracked the tail light and left a hoof-shaped dent that cost like $800 to pound out. Now he parks a full field away from the action, which is smart but annoying when you're hauling heavy tack.

Ask him if the body shop guys framed that hoof print like a trophy before they fixed it, because that would be the only way to really get your money's worth out of a situation like that lol. Seems like a missed opportunity to at least get a funny story out of it if nothing else, you know? Did he at least snap a picture before they hammered it out?
