The week I nailed 47 shoes in a day then had 3 come loose the next week

Last spring I had this one Tuesday that was just magic. I was at a stable outside of Denver and every horse stood perfect, the weather was nice, and I did 47 shoes by 4 PM without one issue. Felt like I could do no wrong. But then the following week I got called back to three of those same horses because the shoes had loosened up. Turns out the ground was wetter than I thought and I didn't adjust my nail angle enough for the soft footing. I still can't figure out if that perfect day was skill or just luck. What do you all do when conditions change under your feet and the same tricks stop working?

Lol right? I gotta know though were these like beaters off the rack or did he camp out for hype drops? Cause 47 pairs is literally a part-time job of just trying stuff on haha.
