Tried the Knipex hoof nippers instead of my old GE ones and can't go back
Broke down and spent $78 on a pair last Tuesday after my 15-year-old GE pair finally gave up on a draft horse job. The cut is way cleaner with way less hand fatigue, anyone else switch brands and regret not doing it sooner?

Yeah that bit about "way less hand fatigue" really hit home with me. I used to think my old GE ones were fine but after a full day of trimming I'd have to ice my hands and wrists. The Knipex design just puts the force in a better spot, less strain on your grip. And that cleaner cut you mentioned is no joke either, less crushing means less cracking down the road for the horse. I actually switched about 6 months ago and still kick myself for not doing it sooner, especially on those tough winter hooves. It's one of those things where you don't realize how bad the old ones were until you feel the difference.

Right? Hindsight's 20/20 and your wrists paid the price.
