Wasted $60 on a 'miracle' hoof boot that fell apart in 2 weeks
Grabbed a pair of those cheap no-name hoof boots off eBay for a client's barefoot horse. Told myself they were worth a shot for the price. First ride on a gravel road and the sole split right down the middle. Second one tore at the strap anchor the next day. Just threw the whole $60 in the trash. Anyone else gotten burned by budget hoof boots that look good online?

...and that's exactly how I ended up with a pair of those "all terrain" boots that claimed to be the next best thing. Saw a video of a horse galloping up a rocky trail in them and figured hey, $50 cheaper than the brand names. First day I put them on my horse, he stepped in a puddle and the rubber sole basically turned into a sponge. By the time we got back to the barn, the whole bottom had peeled off like a bad sunburn. I couldn't even get them to last a full hour.

Man, 50 bucks is cheap but that's a bad beat right there. I've seen those videos too, all glossy and perfect. Horses just standing there looking like they're wearing space boots. But real life, man. A puddle and the sole turns to mush. That's garbage materials, pure and simple. I'd be asking for my money back or leaving a pretty nasty review.
