Had a chat with my neighbor about fast fashion and it hit me hard
I was talking to my neighbor Maria last Sunday while we were both watering our plants, and she mentioned she keeps a list of every piece of clothing she buys in a year. She told me she bought 12 items total last year, and I realized I probably bought 50 or more without even thinking. It made me rethink how I approach my own designs, like do I really need to crank out 20 new sketches every season or should I focus on pieces that last? Has anyone else here scaled back their design output after thinking about waste?

That list idea is smart but brutal. Kept a record for three months once and it made me sick how much I'd bought without wearing. Did she say anything about how she decides what to buy now versus before she started tracking it?
