I was wrong about organic cotton for 5 years until a dye test proved it

I always thought organic cotton was a marketing gimmick that faded faster, but after comparing two identical shirts from the same brand over 20 washes, the organic one held color way better. My friend who works in textile testing explained it's because organic fibers don't get damaged by harsh processing chemicals. Has anyone else noticed a difference in longevity with natural fabrics?

Huh, so my conspiracy theory about Big Cotton is actually backwards? Guess I gotta apologize to my hippie cousin now.
