My whole approach to fabric sourcing changed after a market in Montreal

I was at the Marché Bonsecours last fall, and this vendor showed me a bolt of deadstock wool from the 1970s. The texture was insane, nothing like the new stuff I always order online. Now I hunt for vintage materials first for every collection. Anyone else find that old fabrics just have more character?
