TIL picking the wrong zipper can ruin a whole jacket design
I spent 4 hours on a bomber jacket pattern last month and had to choose between a chunky #5 metal zip or a flat #3 nylon one. Went with the metal because it looked tough, but now the whole front pulls weird and the fabric bunches up. Has anyone else dealt with a zipper choice messing up your fit like this?

Thought the metal zipper would look better too but now I get why fit matters more.
