A guy in Phoenix yelled at me for using a post driver on his flagstone patio.
He said it was 'vibrating his whole foundation' and threatened to call the city. I was just setting a 4x4 for a basic cedar fence. Has anyone else dealt with a neighbor freaking out over normal tool noise?

Vibrating his whole foundation? Tell him to wait until he hears what a real earthquake feels like.

Oh man, that reminds me of a time I was using a circular saw on a Saturday morning. My neighbor came over absolutely convinced the sound was making her dog's arthritis act up. She wanted me to stop by 10 AM. Some people just have a wire crossed when it comes to normal work sounds.
