Warning: My sourdough starter got too acidic in the Phoenix heat
It was over 110 degrees last week and my starter, named 'Bubbles', smelled like nail polish remover. I tried feeding it with a 50/50 mix of rye and bread flour, and it bounced back in two days. Anyone else have a fix for hot weather starter issues?

Whoa, @oliver_adams, you can't keep a bag of rye flour in a hot truck and expect it to stay fresh.

Man, Phoenix heat is no joke for a starter. Glad the rye mix worked for Bubbles, that's a solid save.
