Paid off my first credit card this morning, feels unreal.

Three years ago, I opened it for a $1,200 emergency vet bill. Felt stuck for so long. Last month, I put every extra dollar from my side gig toward it. Just saw the zero balance online. Anyone else get that first card paid off? What did you tackle next?

Totally get where shane_williams is coming from with the control worry. We got a big partner deal last year and felt the same panic. Locked in a solid exit clause upfront, like if they changed our branding we could walk away no penalty. That one term saved us when they tried to mess with our product names.

Honestly I'm not so sure. The deal looks good on paper but they're giving up way too much control long term. Seen this play out before and it never ends well for the smaller company.
