PSA: Discovered my bank's 'high-yield savings' pays 0.01% while inflation is at 3.5%
Found this stat on NerdWallet last night and now I'm wondering if that $50k I've been sitting on the last two years is actually losing me $1,750 in buying power - anyone else just checking their rates for the first time in ages?

Honestly, what finally clicked for me was just setting one recurring reminder on my phone. I check my accounts every Sunday morning with my coffee now, and it takes maybe ten minutes. Before that I'd go six months without looking and get hit with some random fee I could've caught early. Broke the habit by making it super small and painless, not some big scary thing.
