Hit $1,200 in saved paint costs this year by mixing my own colors

I've been doing my own paint matching for like 8 months now after getting tired of spending $45 a gallon at the hardware store. Last week I went through my receipts and added up what I would have paid versus what I spent on tint and base. Came out to $1,200 saved and that shocked me since I only do small rooms and furniture flips. Has anyone else tried mixing their own colors and actually tracked the savings?

Used to scoff at the idea but you're totally right, I never factored that in.

Wait, hold up. Are we even talking about the same kind of mixing? Like are we talking about mixing drinks or mixing dry ingredients for a recipe? Because if it's dry ingredients, the time sink is way different than just pouring liquid into a glass. I feel like everyone's assuming it's for cocktails and nobody's thinking about baking or cooking scenarios. That changes the whole cost of time thing, you know?
