A customer in a 1920s house told me the original oak floors were installed with square nails

I was pulling up a damaged board to patch it and saw the nail heads. Looked it up later and found out they stopped making them around the 1930s when round wire nails took over. Anyone else run into these on old jobs?

I had to use a punch to get those old square nails out.
