Finally stopped taping transitions and started using adhesive after a tip in Denver
I used to spend 20 minutes per doorway struggling with tape that always peeled up, but after a guy in Denver showed me how quick-set adhesive holds better and saves me an hour on every job, has anyone else made the switch?

Stick with tape if you know what you're doing. Adhesive is permanent and if you mess up the alignment even a little you're stuck with a crooked mess or you're scraping glue off for 20 minutes. Tape gives you room to adjust and fix mistakes without ruining your day. Plus that quick-set stuff costs more and you have to buy special spray or tools to apply it right. Tape is cheaper and works fine if you prep the surface and use the right kind for the job. Sounds like that Denver guy was just trying to sell you on his preferred method.
