Found out my jamb saw blade has been dull for 6 months

I was cutting prefinished oak today in that new subdivision off 52nd street and the tearout was brutal. Took me forever to figure out why. Finally swapped the blade for a fresh 60 tooth Freud and it cut like butter. I checked my records from last job and realized I put that old blade on in March. How often do you guys swap your jamb saw blades? I feel like I have been making extra work for myself for no reason lol.

I was using a 60 tooth Freud on my last jamb saw too and that thing lasted me about 4 months before I started noticing the burn marks. I think it really depends on what youre cutting though, like prefinished oak is way harder on a blade than pine or MDF. For the last year I've been swapping mine every 3-4 jobs or whenever I see the finish start to chip, saves a ton of hassle.
