Wait but is filming for Instagram really the same as just wanting a record of the work? My friend had a new fence put in and filmed it just to have it, no retakes. It's different when it's for content like @ross.betty's neighbor. Makes you feel like you're suddenly in a show. Does that pressure to look good change how the work gets done?

I mean, it also changes how you act as the neighbor watching. I caught myself fixing my hair before taking my trash out because I saw her phone pointed near my driveway. Idk, that performative vibe leaks off their property and makes everyone self conscious.
