Realized I was overcomparing my glue down vinyl cuts. Now I just trust the knife.
Spent years second guessing every cut on a big commercial job. Measuring twice, checking the line. A foreman in Phoenix told me 'the blade knows the angle, you just guide it.' Took a month to stop flinching. Now I mark once, cut, and move on. Jobs go 20% faster. Anyone else fight that urge to double check every single piece?

Ever notice how that overthinking shows up everywhere, not just on the job with your hands? I catch myself doing it with simple stuff like packing a cooler for a road trip, gotta check the ice packs three times before I leave.

Totally get that. See it all the time with people learning to drive stick shift, they overthink the clutch until it just becomes a feel thing.

What's the worst habit you see new drivers pick up from overthinking it? Like riding the clutch or that panicked stall at a green light.
