The wedding arch that tried to become a kite

I was setting up for a beach wedding in Santa Monica, the wind picked up way more than the forecast said. I had just secured the last white rose on the arch when a huge gust hit. The whole thing lifted off the ground, flowers and all, before the sand anchors held. I spent the next twenty minutes redoing half the floral work with extra zip ties and a prayer. Anyone have a better method for outdoor structures when the weather turns?

Try using water jugs as hidden weights inside the arch base.

Ever had one of those jugs leak? Been there, it's a real mess.
