Warning: A wedding arch in Sacramento collapsed right before the ceremony
I was setting up a big floral arch for a wedding last Saturday, and the base gave way about twenty minutes before the guests arrived. I had to use zip ties and a spare bucket to prop it up, and the bride never even knew. What's your quickest on-site fix for a structural flower fail?

Man, you hit the nail on the head. I've rebuilt entire ceremony backdrops with just the stuff in my truck, like bungee cords and a step ladder. The goal is just to make it stand and look pretty for an hour, not build something to last forever. Getting fancy with it in a crisis is how you get caught.

Zip ties and a spare bucket" is the real answer. I used to overcomplicate things, but now I see simple is best.
