I thought the $14 lobster roll from that blue truck was a tourist trap for sure.
Tried it on a whim at the county fair last year and it was packed with fresh, sweet meat that changed my mind completely. Anyone found a hidden gem truck that surprised them?

Totally get that feeling. There's a taco truck by the old warehouse district that looks super sketchy, but they have the best carnitas I've ever had. The meat is always so tender and they make their own salsa.

Remember when my buddy refused to try this hole-in-the-wall pupuseria because the sign was falling off? He finally caved and now he's there every Friday, says the food is unreal. Guess the place doesn't matter if the food's that good, right?
