Found my childhood digital camera in a drawer, and the photos just hit different.
The grainy quality from my 2005 camera adds a charm that modern phones can't match.

Oh wow, does it make you remember stuff you totally forgot about? My friend dug out her old camera from a school trip and found a bunch of photos from a rainy day at the zoo. We were all wearing these awful plastic ponchos and making faces, but you can barely see the animals in the haze! She said looking at those blurry pictures brought back the whole soggy, silly feeling way more than a perfect phone photo ever could.

Have you ever had that with old vacation pics? In my experience, my faded photos from a road trip remind me of the bad radio stations and gas station coffee, not just the places. The kinda messy shots just stick in your mind better, for me anyway.

Totally get that. Makes me wonder if the blurry, messy photos work better because they're more like our actual memories, you know? Like my brain doesn't store a perfect 4K video of my grandma's kitchen, it holds the fuzzy feeling of the linoleum and the smell of toast. Do you ever try to take those "imperfect" pictures on purpose now, or does it only work when they happen by accident?
