How a beeping relic from 2010 keeps my runs injury-free

I pulled out my old chest strap heart monitor from 2010 after knee pain ruined my runs. This thing looks like a tech dinosaur and beeps like a smoke alarm. Love how @norag38's shin splint story fits with the knee pain from the post. Both injuries really come from pushing past what your body can handle that day. It proves sometimes the best tech just tells you to slow down.
