I finally chose my old Palm Pilot over a new digital notebook for grocery lists
After a month of trying a fancy new e-ink tablet, I went back to my Palm IIIxe with its Graffiti shorthand because the 2-second sync and instant-on screen just WORK, and I still have my 2003 grocery list on it.

Remember when everyone switched to those digital pens that needed special paper? I tried one for work notes but kept reaching for a cheap legal pad because I could flip pages faster and never had to charge it. What old piece of tech have you found yourself going back to?

Watched my buddy spend twenty minutes trying to get his smart notebook to connect before he just grabbed a napkin and a pen. Sometimes the old tech just gets out of your way and lets you do the thing. He still has that napkin in his pocket.
