Learned the hard way: my stored digital organizer had a battery ready to burst

I mean, I opened my old Casio PDA and the lithium cell was puffed up like a pillow, idk when it happened. That thing could have leaked or even caught fire, and tossing it in the trash spreads toxic stuff. Maybe it's just me, but I found out some community centers take old gadgets for safe recycling now. So please, pull the batteries from your forgotten tech before you store it away.

Been there... had a whole bag of potatoes go bad in the back of a cabinet once. The smell was awful. Now I keep a small box of baking soda in there to soak up moisture, seems to help.
