My dad found his old Sony Walkman WM-FX290 in the attic last weekend.
He said he used it every day on his commute to his job at the old Ford plant in St. Paul. Seeing those big buttons and the tape deck made me realize how simple tech used to be. Anyone still have tips for where to get replacement belts for these things?

Wait, he worked at the St. Paul Ford plant? That place closed down ages ago (like the 2010s, I think). It's wild to think of him commuting with a Walkman to a factory that isn't even there anymore. For belts, I'd just search the exact model number on eBay, that's usually the easiest bet.
