Green sand vs resin sand for aluminum casting. Which one do you swear by?
I ran a batch of aluminum parts last month using green sand from that supplier in Gary, Indiana. Finish came out rough but the mold held shape perfect. Switched to resin sand last week and got a mirror finish but had two near blowouts. Is that just beginner error or does resin sand always fight you more on thin walls? What's your go-to and why?

Heard resin sand can be tricky if you don't get the temp just right.
