Hot take: I'm still mad about the $8 bag of pre-shredded cheese I bought last month that turned into a solid, rubbery block in my fridge after two days.

I mean, idk if it's just me but that felt like such a waste, and now I'm back to grating a $3 block myself which lasts way longer, anyone else have a grocery buy that just totally failed you?

My local store's pre-cut melon always goes slimy overnight... feels like a scam now.

Yeah, I used to grab those containers thinking it was a time saver. Then I had the same thing happen with some pre-cut pineapple. Looked fine in the store, but by the next afternoon it was fizzy and weird. Now I just buy the whole fruit and spend the five minutes cutting it myself. It stays good for days that way.
