Hot take: I started mixing my shellac with a $5 paint mixer in a cordless drill for 30 seconds instead of stirring by hand for 15 minutes.
It dissolved the flakes completely in my Milwaukee shop last week and gave me a perfectly smooth cut every single time, so has anyone found a better way to deal with the inevitable gunk that builds up on the mixer afterwards?

Yeah, just do what @spencerm52 said and wipe it off quick.
