My garbage disposal quit right before a dinner party last night

I had to fish out a lemon wedge by hand while my guests were arriving. What's the dumbest thing that's ever jammed yours?

Mine died from a cherry pit once.

That's a really sad story, but I have to disagree about the cherry pit itself being the cause. The pits contain cyanide, but a dog would need to chew and swallow a lot of them to get a toxic dose. It's more likely there was a blockage or another issue. A single pit usually isn't enough.
