Heard a coworker in Omaha say they got a $500 fine for a noise complaint

They were just having a normal backyard party on a Saturday night. It made me wonder what exactly counts as a legal noise violation where I live. Does anyone know how to check your local noise ordinance rules?

My neighbor in Lincoln got hit with a $400 ticket last summer for his lawnmower at 7 AM on a Sunday. The rules are way stricter than you'd think, and it varies by street sometimes. Your city's website should have a PDF of the noise code you can search.

Totally believe it... my cousin got a warning for using a leaf blower before 8 AM on a Saturday. The rules are no joke around here either.
