Chipped my prized geode during a routine clean

I was dusting off my geode shelf when one slipped from my hand. It hit the edge of the table and now has a visible chip on its surface. What's the best method to repair something like this without causing more damage?

Ugh, feel that heart drop when something slips from your fingers. I had a similar thing happen with a sea glass piece I loved. Watching it hit the floor in slow motion is the worst. You put so much care into cleaning and then one second changes everything. Really hope someone here has a good fix for you.

Vera mentioned that heart drop feeling, but hear me out. Trying to fix the chip could totally ruin the geode's natural look. Any glue or filler might not match and could yellow over time. Plus, geodes are formed by nature, and a chip might just add to its unique story. If you mess with it, you risk causing more damage than the original chip. Sometimes it's better to accept the flaw and let it be.
