Breaking it down by weight per bin and tracking pickup dates made a huge difference for me, helped me see the real progress month to month instead of just one big number at the end.

50k pounds is a lot, but glass is heavy so that number probably sounds more impressive than it actually is lol. Curious if that's over a few years or just since last month cause that changes how wild this really is. Either way though, good on you for recycling, I guess.

Not trying to be difficult, but do you know how much 50k pounds actually is? I work with heavy materials all the time and that's a lot even for glass. My buddy @rayy83 nailed it though - tracking it month to month makes it real. If that's over a few years, sure it's less wild, but even then that's like dumping 10 cars worth of glass into a landfill. Either way, recycling that much beats the alternative.
