Honestly, the weirdest thing just happened at my local library in Springfield.
I was in the history section looking for a book on the 1980s, and I swear I watched a librarian shelve the exact same book in two different spots at the same time. Tbh, I stood there for a full minute just staring at the shelves. Has anyone else seen something double like that in a place you know really well?

Used to think that was crazy, but now I get it.

That's wild, but libraries can play tricks on your eyes. The lighting in those old stacks is often bad, and the books all have similar dark spines. Could have been two copies of the same book, or even two different books with nearly identical covers. Your brain just filled in the rest because you were focused on that one title. Happens to me all the time in my own kitchen looking for a specific spice jar.

Okay but how often does your spice jar actually vanish and then reappear somewhere else? Because that's the weird part. I've seen stuff move in my own house, like my keys being on the table then suddenly in my coat pocket. It's not just bad lighting, it's the thing being in one place and then another with no good reason. Makes you wonder if we notice the small glitches more than we admit.
