I used to think the whole 'time slip' thing was just bad memory, but something changed my mind.
A few years back, I was driving through a small town in Vermont I'd never visited before. I passed a diner with a bright red neon sign that said 'Open 24 Hours'. I came back through that exact spot maybe two hours later, and the building was a boarded-up gas station that looked like it had been closed for a decade. I even checked a map on my phone, and there was no record of a diner ever being there. It freaked me out enough that I can't just write it off anymore. Has anyone else had a 'place' just vanish like that?

Your story about the diner is a solid example of something I've been seeing more of lately. It's not just places, but sometimes objects or even brief moments that seem to flicker. It reminds me of what webb.derek was saying about his friend's treehouse. These little glitches feel too common to just be coincidence, and they make you wonder what's really stable in the world around us.
