Showerthought: The week my town had two of the same street sign

Last Tuesday in Springfield, I drove past Elm Street and saw the sign, then two blocks later saw the exact same Elm Street sign again, same post, same everything. I drove back and forth three times and it was just there, like a copy paste error in real life. Has anyone else seen a street sign duplicate like that?

Yeah, that would mess with my head too. I'd probably be standing there taking pictures and texting everyone I know like "look at this, is this real life?" It's wild how those little glitches can make you question everything for a second.

What gets me is how it messes with trust. You see the same wrong info on three different websites or in two different stores, and you start to doubt your own memory. It's not just a typo anymore, it feels like reality itself got duplicated wrong. Makes you wonder what else we all just accept as true because it was pasted everywhere.
