Had a total color meltdown on a poster for a local band's gig in Seattle. The client wanted 'sunset vibes' but my screen calibration was way off. Printed it at FedEx and it came out looking like a radioactive peach nightmare 30 minutes before the drop-off.

Oh man, that's the worst. Nothing like a surprise neon peach to really set the mood. Bet the band looked like they were playing inside a glow stick. Classic FedEx color lottery, you never know what you're gonna get. At least it wasn't boring. They definitely got a vibe, just maybe not the one they asked for.

Feel like I've lost that lottery more than once. My last order looked like it was colored by a highlighter that had a nervous breakdown. Still, you're right, boring is the real crime.
