PSA: I spent $80 on a font pack for a client project and it totally saved me

Honestly, I was working on a branding job for a local bakery and the free fonts I had just weren't cutting it. I found this perfect vintage script pack online for about eighty bucks and just went for it. The whole mood board clicked into place immediately and the client loved it on the first presentation. Has anyone else had a font purchase make or break a project like that?

That vintage script pack sounds like it nailed the bakery's vibe. I've found that spending on a font often saves hours of tweaking free alternatives. What was the specific quality that made it click for the mood board?

Hours of tweaking free alternatives" is a bit of a stretch in my experience. A good free font can often work if you know where to look.
