A customer told me my trigger jobs were too light for hunting use

I used to set all my hunting rifle triggers to a crisp 2.5 pounds, thinking lighter was always better. A regular client came back after a season and said, "Val, in the cold with gloves on, I almost dropped the rifle on a deer." That feedback made me rethink my standard. Now I ask if the rifle is for the bench or the field, and for hunting in our Michigan winters, I suggest a 3.5 to 4 pound pull. It's a small change, but it feels much safer for real conditions. Do you guys adjust your trigger work based on how the gun will actually be used?

Seems like a pretty niche problem though, how many people are actually hunting in thick gloves?

Lots of hunters in cold climates do.

But how many of them, @tyler_white42, are actually dealing with thick gloves and a touchscreen? It's not just about hunting, it's about any cold weather work where you need to use a phone. That's a bigger deal than just a niche hunt.
