Read somewhere that a Dremel can take off too much material too fast. Hand filing seems safer for keeping the feed ramp angles right...

After messing up a feed ramp with a Dremel once, I switched to hand polishing with fine grit sandpaper (like 1000 grit or higher). What @lily_gibson20 said about hand filing being safer is spot on, since it lets you go slow and feel the material you're taking off. It takes more time, but you won't ruin the angles and end up with a paperweight.
