Tossing veggies in cornstarch before roasting was a game changer for me
I always had trouble getting my roasted vegetables crispy until a friend shared her secret. She told me to toss them in a little cornstarch before baking. It works like a charm and they come out perfect every time! What are your go-to tricks for making veggies taste amazing?

My buddy used to complain about his veggies getting soggy until he tried the cornstarch trick. He won't shut up about how crispy they are now.

But cornstarch can get pasty if you use too much (happened to me once). Light coating with oil first is key.

Isn't cornstarch just adding extra steps for a problem that doesn't exist? I get great crisp from just making sure my oven is hot enough and not crowding the pan. Why add another ingredient to buy and measure when proper technique works fine?
