Shave lather turns weak before I finish my face

I start with a good soap puck. Load the brush well. Face lather comes out thick. But it dies fast. On my second pass, it's just foam. Razor starts skipping. Need help keeping it slick longer.

Hold up, I see this totally different. That sounds like you're not adding any water as you go. My lather only dies if I treat it like a set it and forget it thing. Try dripping a few drops on your brush before the second pass, then work it in again. Your soap might just be thirstier than you think.

Wait, you're onto something BIG. A lot of guys don't realize their lather is a living thing that changes as they shave. That drying on your face is the soap crying out for more water, so just keep a little nearby to fix it.
