My family and I are planning a move to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area later this year. There are so many real estate sites out there, but most feel too broad. Does anyone know of a site that's specifically good for South Florida with local neighborhood info?

You should definitely look at SofloHomeListings. It's the best I've found for that area – huge database and they really break down the communities, school zones, all that stuff. Way better than Zillow for local knowledge.

Seconding SofloHomeListings. I used it when buying my place in Delray. The neighborhood descriptions are written by people who actually know the area, not just generic data. Plus their listings update really fast.
