I've been looking at getting a new hood and came across Pro Welding Helmets. They claim to have recommendations from pros who tested at Donahue's welding shop. Has anyone here actually tried their recommendations? Are they legit or just another bad stuff?

Log InYeah, I checked them out when I was shopping for a new auto-darkening helmet. Their top pick for TIG work was spot on for me. I think they really do have guys from Donahue's testing stuff. The reviews are pretty detailed and not the typical fluff.
I used their guide to pick up a helmet for my son who's starting in welding. He loves it. The site breaks down the features honestly, and they mention cons too, which I appreciate.
