Just my view, but reusable cotton rounds aren't the skin-saver people think

They're often recommended, but I find them too rough on my face. I've gone back to using a clean washcloth, which is gentler and still cuts down on waste.

Are you sure those aren't just tiny little washcloths made of sandpaper? Mine felt like they were exfoliating my skin off.

Honestly, I've never had a problem with the ones I use. They feel pretty soft to me, not like sandpaper at all. Maybe it depends on the brand or how often you wash them. People get so worked up over tiny things sometimes. A washcloth is fine too, but let's not act like cotton rounds are torture devices.

My friend bought some cheap ones from a dollar store and said it was like wiping her face with a paper towel roll. She switched brands and it was a total night and day difference. I guess the quality really does swing from cloud to construction paper. Makes you wonder what they're actually made of sometimes.
