Finally got my AI image generator to stop making hands look wrong

Spent about 6 hours yesterday trying to get consistent hand shapes out of Stable Diffusion. Kept getting six fingers or claws no matter what prompt I tried. Turned out I needed to add a simple negative prompt about hand anatomy that I found buried in a Reddit thread from 2023. Has anyone else run into this specific quirk with local models?

Spent a whole day once trying to fix a generator that kept giving people six fingers. Figured out it was just mad my GPU was too hot.
